The German LUKAD Group is a leading global plastic packaging manufacturer. The Guangzhou Menshen Factory Project is the 9th production base invested by the group in China in 2024, with a total construction area of 14,967.6 square meters.
The BIM consulting service provided by APG for this project targets the plastic packaging box and container manufacturing project, covering the entire process from preliminary concept design and construction drawing detailing to the later integration with the smart factory management system. Combined with product needs and specific equipment requirements—such as rotary centrifugal cap sorting devices and welding cap nozzle testing devices—APG built a refined 3D model. Through BIM, APG carried out comprehensive MEPF Routing coordination, space optimization, equipment layout simulation, and construction coordination management to reduce disciplinary conflicts and on-site rework.
Finally, the model data will seamlessly integrate into the owner's smart factory management platform to achieve digital management of production layout, equipment operation and maintenance, energy consumption monitoring, and technological processes, improving factory construction efficiency and the level of intelligent operation in later stages.
